Kevin Pauls, Founder, Simple SEO Marketing

I run Simple SEO Marketing, a small agency focused on local SEO and Google Business Profile optimization. I'm also a Platinum Product Expert for Google Business Profile — one of the senior tiers in Google's Product Experts program, awarded to a small global cohort of practitioners who've demonstrated deep, sustained expertise across the GBP ecosystem. Local Visibility Lab is where both of those things converge.

I built Local Visibility Lab to solve the problems my agency was hitting every day: managing multiple profiles without losing track of changes, handling review response at scale, and dealing with the suspensions that are an unavoidable reality if you manage enough profiles. The internal tooling I built for my own use became the platform. It still runs my agency's work. That's the point. The full capability set is on the features page if you want to see what we built.

I've designed the reinstatement toolkit that ships inside the platform: the readiness audit that catches issues before Google does, the AI document analysis that checks evidence packages against Google's guidelines, and the appeal quick-links that live in every profile view. The practitioner playbook I use in my own agency work, built into the software so business owners have it when they need it — not learned under pressure after a suspension lands.

I try to run this company the same way I'd want to work with a vendor: transparent pricing, no hidden fees, and a community where the conversation is real and not curated. I also write about GBP work directly on the blog, covering reinstatement playbooks, optimization frameworks, and agency operations from the practitioner side. If you have a question I can answer directly, reach out.

Barry Ryan, Sr Director of Sales & Marketing

I'm Barry Ryan, Sr Director of Sales and Marketing at Local Visibility Lab.

I've been working with agencies since 2002, building a career centered on helping businesses grow their sales and marketing operations. Over more than two decades in the industry, I've worked with organizations including FindLaw, Wolters Kluwer, and Beardog Digital, gaining a broad view of how sales and marketing strategies come together across different types of companies and client needs.

That range of experience has shaped how I approach my work today: with a focus on practical results, clear communication, and a deep understanding of what it takes to help clients and teams succeed. Whether working directly with clients or building out internal sales and marketing strategy, I bring a steady, experienced perspective grounded in two decades of hands-on agency work.

In my role as Sr Director of Sales and Marketing at Local Visibility Lab, I'm excited to bring that experience to bear, helping the team grow its client base, sharpen its go-to-market approach, and deliver strong results for the businesses we serve.

Outside of the day-to-day, I stay focused on what's always driven me in this industry: a genuine interest in helping businesses get found, get chosen, and grow.

The Community

The community came first.

Local Visibility Lab started as a paid community of GBP practitioners, agency owners, consultants, and multi-location operators who wanted a place to work through real problems together. The weekly group consulting calls have been running for years. Members bring real profiles, real suspensions, and real optimization questions, and we work through them on air. That's not a feature. It's what the brand is built on.

The SaaS is an expansion of that brand, not a replacement for it. The platform gives community members the tooling to act on what they learn. Community access is bundled into the Agency Partner plan.

The Parent Company

A Simple SEO Marketing product.

Local Visibility Lab is a product of Simple SEO Marketing, a small agency focused on local SEO and Google Business Profile optimization. Simple SEO Marketing is where the tooling started, internal systems built to manage client profiles at scale, and Local Visibility Lab is where that tooling became a product.

The agency and the platform share the same owner, the same focus, and the same practical orientation: figure out what actually moves the needle on local visibility, build toward it, and be honest when something is uncertain. Simple SEO Marketing is still running client work. Local Visibility Lab is the public-facing version of what that work produced. The pricing model reflects that origin: a flat $49 per profile for single businesses, and a simple $299 agency plan for teams managing at scale, with no annual lock-in.

How We Work

What we believe.

  • Practitioner-built

Every feature exists because we hit the problem ourselves. There are no speculative roadmap items here, just tools we needed and built.

  • Honest framing

We won't promise outcomes that Google controls. Reinstatement success, ranking improvements, review velocity: we can tell you what we've seen and what the data says, not what you want to hear.

  • Transparent pricing

Two simple plans, fully public, no surprise fees. You can calculate your cost before you sign up, and the number you see on the calculator is the number on your invoice.

  • Practitioners answering practitioners

Community calls run weekly. Real profiles, real questions, real cases worked through on air. No scripted content, no pre-recorded answers. Just live problem-solving.

Equip the agency. Empower the owner.
